Make-Ready Materials
Make-ready Materials
Epoxy Glass Board – strong and durable make-ready base providing clean and sharp impressions. It is precisely flat, which gives correct pressure across the stamping area. Recommended for hot foil stamping fine to medium artwork.
Presspahn – all purpose make-ready base board with a smooth surface. Excellent for short to medium runs on all platen and cylinder presses. Recommended for hot foil stamping medium to large area works.
Black Rubber Blanket – excellent choice makeready blanket for hot foil stamping. Good for softening the make-ready base whilst at the same time maintaining the long life. Used in narrow-web label and security production, as well as larger solid areas on cylinder and platen presses.
Yellow Rubber Blanket – textile based make-ready. Provides a softer finish when applied over epoxy glass board or counter-dies. Great for large solid areas. May be used to compensating for thickness and flatness tolerances of stamping press, cardboard and stamping die.
Polyester Film 0.023 mm – polyester film is used to cover the counter die. It protects the counter die from abrasion and early damage.
Patching Tape – commonly used spot make-ready material for hot foil stamping, embossing and die-cutting. Equalizes pressure differences, helps to achieve optimal pressure.
Adhesive Tape for Counter Dies – heat-resistant double-sided adhesive tape for mounting counter dies onto mechanical cylinders/platens. The bonding is extremely secure, yet easy to remove after long print runs and won’t leave any residues. Working temperatures up to +60°C.
Heat-Activated Adhesive Tape – heat-activated tape is primarily used for securing metal dies to hot metal plates. The tape is not tacky directly from the roll, becomes tacky when heat is applied. Tacking temprature – 40-50°C. Bonding temperature – 110-150°C.
